BABYMETAL, the heavy metal offshoot of the Japanese pop idol group SAKURA GAKUIN yang memadukan penampilan Japanese mix of schoolgirl J-pop dengan irama death metal, akan merilis Konser Blueray Pertama bertajuk " Live ～Legend I, D, Z Apocalypse～ " pada 20 November nanti ( sementara limited-edition DVD box-nya lebih duluan dirilis duluan pada 19 October lalu ). berisi beberapa penampilan mereka di Shibuya O-East (October 2012), Akasaka Blitz (December 2012) dan Zepp Tokyo (February 2013).
single "Megitsune" was sudah dirilis pada 19 Juni lalu. Mengkombinasikan traditional Japanese instruments dengan metal overtones serta enka ballad untuk menciptakan festive sound. seperti theme track lagu "women are born actresses." 4 versi berbeda yang mereka rilis untuk fans terbatas "Tsu", limited "Ki", dan limited "Ne" edition, tersedia dalam edisi Reguler-nya.
BABYMETAL recently embarked on the "Death Match Tour 2013" and was accompanied by a "full metal band."
In the spring of 2013, Suzuka Nakamoto graduated from junior high school and therefore had to "graduate" from the group SAKURA GAKUIN (which consists of girls of up to junior high). However, it was decided by the management that BABYMETAL would not dissolve and would continue their activities as a band.
