Metal Blade Records baru saja menambahkan Keluarga barunya dengan penampilan Band Technical Death Metal dengan Beat2 Brutal asal Pennsylvania, Amrik, RIVERS OF NIHIL sebagai Jagoan baru-nya ! AMAZING banget untuk Debutan Full album awal bagi band bentukan tahun 2009 sejak nama mereka dikenal lewat 2 EP " Hierarchy " dan " Temporality Unbound ", dengan lebih memadukan Konsep Blackened Death Metal in the vein Abigail Williams Awal, Winds Of Plague awal serta perpaduan kompleks antara Decrepit Birth ke Meshuggah hingga Behemoth serta Morbid Angel menjadi konsep signifikan mengagumkan lahir full album perdana garapan Produser Erik Rutan melahirkan sound maksimal-nya. and whilst death metal would be the last music style I'd expect to invoke feelings of spring, I can certainly see what they're going for. Particularly with the icier beginning of the album paving the way for chaotic blasting which could represent the seeds sprouting, and saplings pushing their way through the thaw; a sort of dramatic, tumultuous look at new life I guess. ini jelas bukan musisi sembarangan jika skill yang diandalkan disini emang asli bikin gw terkagum kagum menikmati setiap komposisi-nya. the performances are exceptionally well done, and the band's technical pedigree is no doubt impressive. ok langsung saja gw mulai " Terrestria I: Thaw " hadir sebagai Foreplay awal yang begitu epic, dark dan atmospheric sentuhannya terasa masih belum begitu menggetarkan suasana, tapi begitu " Rain Eater " menerjang, kontan suasana mendadak berubah panas dengan hentakan dasyat drummer Ron Nelson memainkan skill luar biasanya menjadi Icon paling menghipnotis indera dengar gw saat harus mengimbangi permainan Dasyat Gitaris Brody Uttley dan Jon Kunz menjadi sesuatu yang really Amazing !!! komposisi musiknya memang brilian untuk berhasil mereka ciptakan dan menjauhkan dari kesan Boring sedikitkan karena kerja sama maksimal antara member melahirkan aransemen musik yang sophisticate sekali. sentuhan kuat antara Nile, Gorguts hingga Spawn Of Possession memang sangat rapat terdengar pula. Rivers of Nihil’s vocals could be described as aggressive shouting, they are similar to Meshuggah in that sense but sound meaner and a little more strained, nonetheless totally vicious. The lyrics are still very understandable which a lot of people like myself appreciate greatly. They occasionally switch to a gentle but still deadly growl for a few verses, but only in a couple songs. There’s nothing wrong with all out hell-bent guttural growls, but it sure is nice to learn the lyrics from just listening casually and not having to look them up. " Birth of the Omnisavior " selanjutnya semakin liar saja komposisi bermusiknya ! Rampant experimentation was commonplace, and the sheer technical prowess of the musicians in these bands rivaled musicians in any genre. Death metal was becoming a bit of a thinking man's genre, much to the chagrin of old-school purists, who quickly and loudly decried the end of death metal. Bener bener lick setiap aransemennya menguras konsentrasi gw untuk merasakan sentuhan teknik bermusik yang luar biasa sekali. death metal has largely returned to the sounds of the late 80's and early 90's. Experimentation still exists, but even these bands have roots in classic, well worn sounds long ago established by a group of aging musicians, whose bands now seem to be reforming left and right mostly by reminding everyone that the "death metal" part is still more important than the "technical" part, no matter how brain-meltingly technical an album is. " Soil & Seed " meski dengan tempo yang melambat, track ini kemudian tampil menjadi sangat dinamis dengan sentuhan Enerjik-nya. makes stand head and shoulders above many of the bands modern contemporaries within this style of Death Metal. For starters, stays brutal, heavy and aggressive through-out. Sure, things get Technical and melodic, but the album never stops being heavy and nasty from a song-writing perspective. Raungan Vokalis Jake Dieffenbach coba memberikan sentuhan garang berbeda untuk konsep band, walo terkadang mirip dengan gayanya Vader era " Litany ", namun karakteristik Meshuggah begitu sangat mendominasi karakternya, kemudian Middle Scream Bassis Adam Biggs semakin menambah sentuhan Blackened-nya. The darkness, the uniqueness, of this album, are also place it very high up to me. It's something hard to define. I've listened to a great deal of dark music in my life, but it is rare to come across an album so profoundly dark, it just fucking oozes atmosphere. For all it's insane technicality to still have so much emotional depth? That is truly a feat unmatched. " Central Antheneum " kian cepat menghajar dengan teknikalitas mengagumkan pula berikutnya. the mind-numbing complexity of the music, it allows for extremely high number of listens. It's difficult to get worn out on a song, when you hear something new every time you listen to it. Which again, is something I normally only experience with classical music. Nice Track !! begitu pula dengan " Mechanical Trees " gempuran rapat drummer Ron Nelson lagi2 paling menyita konsentrasi Gw, Damn !!! termasuk pula " Place of Serpents " & " Human Adaptation ", inoculating your feeble mind with a fragile, creeping precursor of what’s to come with the short, calm Abodement, before ripping right into your torso with the archangelic bonesaw of Where Angels Go, Demons Follow. It’s at this point I must humbly decree that the accompaniment of lyrics is of the utmost importance to gaining the full experience from Incurso, as even though the brunt of the musical force is in its own way spectacular, the evolution of seemingly erratic riffing is a perfect companion to these stories of gripping darkness and psychotic, spiritual sickness. dan " Airless " track dengan durasi terpanjang ini mengakhiri dengan sempurna kalo Coldplay mereka harus terhenti total ditrack ini. well sebuah Masterpiece dasyat mengagumkan memang masih dimuncratkan Scene Amrik dengan talenta luar biasa seperti ini. selama durasi total 41 menit sajian berkualitas dalam musikal agenda mereka siap mengoyak kegelapan malam dengan hentakan keras blastbeat dan teknikalitas yang mematikan !!! Taste Blend Bestiality Has Really Awesome Created Here !! one of the more overtly traditional death metal numbers, though it becomes aroused by its murderous tendencies about halfway through and starts dancing and slicing through a technical madhouse of twirling melodics like a homicidal robotic knife-fighter. Deus Avertat is an acrobatic, bloody story of that whirls along with epileptic fury and near classical grace as it stop-starts its way through about 1,000 different tempos and riffing patterns, never relenting its twiddling, burly, needle-gun ferocity for a moment. Artwork Kover legendaris karya seniman Dan Seagrave menambah Epic Album ini menjadi sempurna saja didukung dengan Kualitas rekaman yang Amazing, " The Conscious Seed Of Light " adalah the Best Masterpiece wajib yang harus kalian miliki ditahun 2013 ini ! Make no mistake, this is technical death metal, overtly and unrepentantly so. Every single note progression is a dexterous and impressive musical flourish, with often jarring, discordant change-ups and winding, challenging passages abound. What sets Incurso apart from the immense tech death flock, however, is the atmosphere is conjures so naturally and beautifully. To put it bluntly, this album has fucking soul, and even though it unashamedly wanks off virtually the entire time, there is a legitimate, tangible feeling of evil here; a decrepit, overwhelmingly unsettling feeling conjured through the interplay of composition and lyrics that is the hallmark of the very best death metal. Tech death records almost never feel like truly emotional, volatile works, but Incurso is the exception to the rule, without a doubt one of the most interesting releases this year. So Wait for ?? .... BUY OR DIE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
