Sebuah Invasi mengerikan harus kembali ditorehkan bagi Raksasa label Metal dengan Distribusi Internasional di Era-90an adalah masa Ke-emasannya. membuat sebuah album kompilasi adalah sebuah strategi dagang Industri Musik untuk lebih mengenalkan beberapa Roster band yang albumnya berada dibawah rilisannya. dan Monte Conner, salah satu Divisi Pemasarannya lebih meluangkan Konsentrasinya untuk merilis album kompilasi bertajuk At Death's Door pada Edisi pertamanya menggunakan tema " A Collection Of Brutal Death Metal " lebih sebagai Merk Dagang menariknya bagi para fans metal, dan kayaknya gw harus ga sependapat dengan Ide Monte Conner ini, karena Kompilasi ini lebih berisi berbagai Genre Metal dari Death Metal dan Thrash metal, dan karena mungkin pada era 90-an pas kompilasi ini dirilis, kekuatan dasyat dari Booming Keras Death Metal lebih di asumsikan dengan beat musik yang Brutal ! dan hal tersebut masih berlaku lah untuk beberapa band sadis disini. hmmm sebuah kompilasi Fenomenal begitu pertama kali dirilis, dengan artwork keren karya seniman Naturalis dan Plural Themes seperti Dan Sea Grave adalah langganan beberapa band di era 90-an dan menjadi pelukis artwork Lepas di Roadrunner records telah memberi kemasan yang Keren kompilasi ini dilirik Fans Musik Cadas. semua track disini telah mengalami Proses mastering ulang untuk mengejar Sound Balance di Fullersound, Miami, Florida. mayoritas disini adalah Rilisan Expose dari Roadrunner terkecuali 1 Band, Morgoth masih menjadi hak cipta Century Media Records. well sebuah serbuan Kejam dari Era 90-an siap membumi hanguskan Death Metal Fans ! dan meski pernah dirilis dalam format Kaset Pita, sepertinya Album Kompilasi ini tidak pernah didistribusikan di wilayah Indonesia, dan yang tersedia justru malah Jilid Ke-2 nya saja, atau gw salah mungkin ?? yang jelas ada banyak band Legendaris dan tangguh bertengger didalamnya yang dimulai oleh Track awal " Mass Hypnosis " nya SEPULTURA, yang saat itu memang sedang gencar mempromosikan album ke-3 nya " Beneath The Remains " tahun 1989, salah satu Band Thrash Metal Terbesar dan Populer masa itu masih terkenal dengan gaya Thrash Metal kental sadisnya, sepertinya sudah sesuai mendapat urutan terdepan Kompilasi ini mengingat Reputasi-nya yang luar biasa kala itu. Beneath the Remains boasts some of the fastest and most intense drumming since their '85-'86 period, easily exceeding, Slayer, and Dark Angel at the time. The Drums are also a huge improvement over Schizophrenia, being much faster, but much more clear and refined as well. While Sepultura were not the fastest of the time, with bands like Sadus, Necrodeath, and Merciless far exceeding them in the area of speed, they were sufficiently fast, and did not go overboard with speed. Just like Slayer on RIB, they were aiming for writing something that was not just mindless bashing, but controlled while still being intense and straight-forward, unlike Metallica’s overly restrained, semi-thrash, that actually had more traits of NWOBMH and traditional heavy metal than it did thrash. Sepultura basically took the formula of Slayer, and applied Metallica elements, with touches of death metal, and much more speed. ... Kemudian ada PESTILENCE dengan Track " Out Of The Body " yang dicomot dari album ke-2 " Consuming Impulse " Tahun 1989, Intense Death Metal asal Enschede, Overijssel, Netherland yang eksis sejak 1986 ini termasuk salah satu Pioner Penting perkembangan Death Metal dinegeri Kincir angin tersebut. a lingering thrash influence all over the place, mostly of the East Coast and German variety. It's just played with down tuned guitars. I'm not that nuts about solos on here; they lack the character that they had on Malleus Maleficarum and the finesse of Testimony of the Ancients. Not terrible, but not memorable. Marco Foddis' drumming sounds a hell of a lot like Voivod; very thrashy, a bit punk, and totally energetic. and I prefer it when he gets a little weirder with his compositions. It's still a mandatory purchase for any death metal fanatic, as it is hands down the heaviest riffing Pestilence has ever put down. sebuah komposisi Klasik Death Metal Pestilence dengan Vokalis Kharismatik Martin Van Drunen ini tetap menyimpan kekuatan tersendiri sebelum Pestilence banyak mengalami Perkembangan Secara Musikalitas... lalu " Dead By Dawn " Track Sadis Milik Lunatic Death Metal yang terkenal dengan Satanic Lyric-nya, DEICIDE dimuntahkan secara Brutal dari album Full perdana Mereka " Deicide " Tahun 1990 yang menjadi Debutan pertama sejak mereka bergabung dengan Roadrunner records pasca mengganti nama Amon menjadi Deicide juga menjadi salah satu band dengan rilisan yang memiliki angka penjualan fantastis. album pertama dengan konsep musik paling Brutal dan cepat diantara album2 berikutnya memang tetap menjadi salah satu Album Klasik Inspirator generasi selanjutnya. Despite its strengths, Deicide is not, alas, one of my favorite cult death metal albums. Not even close. The individual tracks are consistent enough as a template for about 12,000 unspirited brutal death metal discs to follow, and no effort was spared in their construction, but there are painfully few, if any moments of meticulously calculated evil. ... " Burnt Identity " nya MORGOTH, berikutnya menjadi persembahan Death metal Klasik menarik yang dicomot dari album " The Eternal Fall " yang sejarah masih mencatatnya sebagai salah satu album Klasik Death Metal terbaik sepanjang masa yang dirilis pertama kali tahun 1990 menjadi barometer sejarah perkembangan death metal penting. membawa sentuhan menarik dari Karakter Band Death era " Leprosy ", toh tetap membuat Ep pertama ini memiliki Nyali besar dalam sejarahnya. actually hear pretty well in the mix for once, his grungy, midrangey tone underlying the guitars just right. But his vocals were the star; wrenching, wretched screams and ugly growls that were indeed a cross section. .... Kemudian SADUS Meluncur dengan " Last Abide " dari materi " Swallowed In Black " yang menjadi Ke-2 band Death/Thrash Metal dengan Part dinamis asli Antioch, California, Amrik eksis sejak 1984 masih menjadi salah satu Pioner Death/thrash dengan gaya dinamis yang hingga sampai ini masih kokoh dimotori oleh Musisi Bertalenta dengan Reputasi Internasional, Fretless Bass Populer Steve DiGiorgio, Gitaris Vokalis Darren Travis dan drummer Jon Allen, memang secara fantastis tetap memiliki taring Tajam tersendiri dalam mengusung karakter musiknya. Probably the best example of Sadus's technical abilities is the epic song Arise, with numerous tempo changes, and mind boggling riffs at a Metallica-like song length of over 6 minutes in length. All these elements prove why Sadus was much more competent as musicians than any of the big four, providing far more advanced compositions, and complexity, although a bit less accessible. ... selanjutnya EXHORDER, Pioner Thrash/Groove Metal asal New Orleans, Louisiana, Amrik yang memulai Karir band-nya sejak tahun 1985, dari Album " Slaughter In The Vatican " memuntahkan Track Fenomenal " Desecrator ", band yang di klaim sebagai salah satu pencipta pertama gaya Groove Thrash Metal dan kemudian lebih dipopulerkan oleh Pantera ini pernah Terlibat aksi sentimen jika Pantera telah mencuri Karakter style bermusik Bandnya. dan memang karakter Vokalis Kyle Thomas lebih coba ditirukan oleh Philp Anselmo dan beberapa Style serta Sound gitaris Vinnie LaBella & Jay Ceravolo menempel kuat di Karakter Pantera, hmmmm bagaimana ini??? They just aren't that original or memorable. This excels in speed and brutality but severely lacks any kind of creativity or intelligence. This is still primitive by nature. I could categorize this into a sea of millions of other mindless thrashers but this is actually a lot better than most of them. If this is a reign in blood clone, It's actually a pretty decent one. it blew my sorry ass away and still does. Unlike most other thrash releases of this era, when most bands were slowing down and/or being content to rewrite the classic Bay Area sound ad infinitum, Exhorder chose to rev up the engine and take us back to thrash's violent roots. Most of the songs here are just this side of being out of control speed-wise, balanced out with slower and mid paced riffing to rein the lot in, and that is the way good thrash ought to be--homicidal and vicious! ... dan " Open Casket " milik Legendaris Frontman Chuck Schuldinner dengan DEATH dimuntahkan dari materi album " Leprosy " tahun 1988 adalah Masterpiece penting perkembangan Death metal Simultan Internasional yang lebih mengalami kemajuan konsep dan sound sejak album pertama " Scream Bloody Gore " tahun 1987, semua death metal fans tetap akan bersembah sujud untuk kemegahan konsepsional Band Death Metal Legendaris Amrik dan Scene Internasional ini. Death metal, the refuge of all things brutal and horrific, the pillar of everything considered obscene and repulsive about the latter half of the sub-genre. In recent years, becoming something of a twisted parody of itself, losing any sense of connection to an essential humanizing element that it once carried. Like a blossoming plant with an extravagant array of colors and intricate flowers and branches, today's modern death outfit charges forth with an array of technological wonders and higher mathematical formulas for further mechanizing a once organic and flesh-bound art form. One could perhaps chalk this pretentious aside up to an old fogey looking to admonish the younger generation of their debaucherous abandonment of past dogmas, but this assumes that I was old enough to have comprehended the late 80s origins of the genre and that I consider all strains of modern death metal to be empty expressions !! ... OBITUARY selanjutnya melenggang Buas dengan " Til Death " dari materi full album pertama klasiknya " Slowly We Rot " adalah Perjalanan Mendasar dari konsep Celtic Frost menjadi lebih terdengar " Cadas " dan " Metal " lagi dibuatnya. Gitaris Trevor Peres dan Allen West telah mencoba menciptakan Kharakter Khas Sounding Obituary hingga seperti sekarang ini, salah satu Pioner Death Metal penting dalam Catur perkembangan death metal ini untuk pertama kalinya memuntahkan album pertama dengan nama Obituary, setelah sebelumnya menggunakan nama Xecutioner sejak terbentuk Tahun 1988 dan atas desakan Pihak Roadrunner Records, Xecutioner harus berubah nama menjadi Obituary sebelum album " Slowly We Rot " Tahun 1989 dilepas. This is an issue that was clearly addressed with its followup Cause of Death, which is superior and the best thing the band have released to this day. Yet Slowly We Rot is still well worth repeated visits due to its visceral, unforgiving aesthetics. I can recall many conversations in high school and at thrash gigs about how disgusting and extreme this new Florida band Obituary was, and certainly the debut does not disappoint, with brutal vocals and adequately nihilistic lyrics. But this initial 'shock' value aside, it does suffer from some mild redundancy where its successor does not. .... Lantas salah Satu Pioner Death Metal Florida scene, MALEVOLENT CREATION beraksi cukup sadis dengan Lagu " Decadence Within " yang dicomot dari Materi " Demo 1990 " cukup menarik perhatian pertama kalinya Label ini begitu merasakan permainan dasyat Death Metal " Baru " yang diusung band bermarkas di Fort Lauderdale, Florida dan eksis sejak tahun 1987 ini telah memberikan warna baru perkembangan death metal semakin lebih dinamis melalui Karakter-nya. dan demo inilah yang mengantar Kontrak pertama perilisan album Full perdana " The Ten Commandments " 1 tahun kemudian. Gaze into the crystal ball of this band's past, and you'll witness a familiar fable. A pissed off group of adolescent Floridians for whom the thrash metal genre was simply not excessive enough to vent its myriad frustrations. Admittedly, Malevolent Creation has never been numbered among the elite of the death metal genre, but they've nonetheless had a successful go of it, touring and releasing a large number of albums, sticking it out for the long run, a revolving door of members circling an axe slinging central figure: Phil Fasciana. But during those formative years of the scene, what exactly did this band have to offer those of us who were affixed on the conquests of their more highly regarded. ... Lalu BELIEVER meluncur dengan Track " Not Even One " dari materi album perdana " Extraction From Mortality ", Progressive/Technical Thrash Metal Populer asal Colebrook, Pennsylvania yang eksis sejak 1986 adalah catatan penting Perkembangan Genre Thrash Metal yang semakin Dinamis ! adalah perpaduan Karakter Slayer, Kreator, Metallica, hingga Dark Angel yang telah dikombinasikan melalui sentuhan mantap telah melahirkan karakter Dasyat band ini. I guess that being the topic of the song they wanted to des-stress from such run of speed and supposedly aggression but in the end it is all forgettable. The other problem appointed to mediocrity is the fact that although the amount of tempo changes and rhythm sections they don’t save the songs from sinking. They are too forced and too schematic and it definitely shows after a couple of spins. This is an album you can live without. I have it because I like Believer and I enjoy their albums but this is without any doubt the worst of all so far. Too bad they didn’t even have a logo, less points then! ....... CEREBRAL FIX, dedengkot Crossover/Thrash Metal asal Birmingham, UK yang sudah menancapkan Taringnya sejak tahun 1986 bukan isapan jempol jika karya mereka lewat track " Culte Des Mortes " dari album ke-2 " Tower of Spite " tahun 1990 memberi sentuhan mantap perkembangan genre Crossover/Thrash Metal ! The musicianship is simplistic with absolutely no flashiness. Track after track, the band churns out riff after riff of brutality. Stylistically, their sound can be compared to early Benediction, Bolt Thrower, Napalm Death, Nuclear Assault, Obituary, Heresy, Cryptic Slaughter..you get the idea. Their sound is heavily simplistic, but diverse throughout their playing with heavily contrasted riffs ranging from a mid paced death metal riffs in the style of Bolt Thrower or Obituary.. to speed metal like early Kreator....and then some UK hardcore thrown in the mix. dan Komposisi Track terakhir diserahkan kepada Salah satu Pioner Metal kenamaan Jerman Scene, ATROCITY dengan track " Deep In Your Subconscious " dicomot dari album pertamanya " Hallucinations " Band ini masih memberi pengaruh segar Perkembangan Simultan Death metal Impresif sebelum akhirnya band ini harus kehilangan arah konsep musiknya sekarang. materi album pertama " Hallucinations " masih tetap menduduki peringkat penting Album Death Metal klasik paling berpengaruh. namun apa kenyataan yang terjadi sebenarnya jika band ini harus berkianat merubah konsep Fenomenalnya menjadi band Electro Gothic/Ethno ???, It does take a while to get into this album properly due to the technicality of the music but when you do, you can’t but worship it. My only complaint is about the production, the snare drum is too loud and the guitars are a bit too low in the mix but this is a minor thing. is a must for all fans of frantic technical death metal. debutan Kompilasi Cadas ini kian berani bertarung dalam industri musik Internasional, namun memang pada era tersebut Label ini mempunyai Momen yang pas saja untuk terus mengekploitasi Genre Death/Thrash Metal menjadi pasar utama yang mendatangkan banyak Profit. sebuah kompilasi Yang sukses dalam berbagai Format dan kemudian beberapa kali dirilis ulang karena permintaan pasar semakin tinggi.
