Sejak Jatuh cinta dengan full album Ke-3 " Act III " tahun 1990 dengan Konsep Thrash Metal dengan Sentuhan yang Progresif serta Teknikal, band asal California yang eksis sejak tahu 1982, telah menghipnotis Gw dengan Komposisi dan Karakter Thrash Metal-nya masih yang terbaik dikelasnya. I think it would have done quite well and felt pretty fresh, a more aggressive successor to Act III. But not something with the killer chorus hooks and attitude that would endure down through the decades after that. memang karismatik warna musikal Death Angel masih dipengaruhi oleh karakter vokal kuat seorang Mark Osegueda, yang bagi gw tidak akan tergantikan bagi laju eksistensi Death Metal sepanjang masa setelah Gitaris Rob Cavestany yang menjadi Motor terkuat bertahan dalam barisan band ini, sayang memang kalo beberapa Nama lama seperti Bassis Dennis Pepa, Drummer Andy Galeon dan Gitaris Gus Pepa tidak bersama lagi formasi sekarang, namun beruntung sekali menurut pandangan Gw jika Mark dan Rob tetap sebagai Motor Hidup Death Angel tetap terjaga Kualitas bermusiknya. Meskipun gw tidak begitu mengikuti perkembangan album2 Death Angel sejak " Act III " secara intens, namun gw masih bisa cukup merasakan Progres bermusik mereka dengan 3 manusia baru disini. dan menurut gw, materi baru ini masih menjadi perjalanan kontinyu Album Terakhir mereka " Relentless Retribution " tahun 2010 lalu. dengan Ambisi bermusik semakin profesional, Death Angel masih mampu terus menampilkan Skill terbaik mereka. it certainly doesn't have 100 mph set to cruise control, but the riffs are memorable. For me, anyways. I love most of the riffs and guitar solos this album offers, and I love the vocals as well. They aren't aggressive, but they're not soft either. The vocals are perfect. Kemasan Thrash Metal modern yang semakin kental tertanam disetiap Lick-nya dan berusaha tidak terlalu terjebak dalam part2 yang rumit seperti awal karir bermusik mereka. Menggandeng Enjiner Jason Suecof tetap menjadi pilihan tetap sukses band menggarap materi " Relentless Retribution " nya. dan " Left for Dead " adalah track yang diawali dengan sebuah Clean Gitar Intro ballad yang kemudian Thrash Riffing kental menggergaji penuh dengan Hentakan enerjik dan Powerfully dipemanasan track awal ini. Mark Osegueda tetap menjadi Kualitas Karakter vokalnya sama sekali tidak berubah atau mengalami dekadensi usia-nya yang memang bukan anak muda lagi. tetep Powerfull !! Kemudian Fast Thrash Riffing Rob kerja Bareng Ted tetap liar mengumbar beberapa Intens Rythym dan Beberapa Solo Gitar sementara Gebukan Drummer Will masih memberikan Tajam Taring bermusik Death Angel sendiri. which has this almighty groovy feel that is impossible to get enough of and then the mother of all ridiculous-ness. Nice track kemudian seperti " Fallen " memiliki Komposisi yang terus liar menghajar ! The riff writing prior to the solos leaves a lot to be desired and to be quite honest; one can hardly remember any stand out riff the most awesome Death Angel-songs to date, still kicks you in the face when you least expect it. There aren’t any ballads or notably “soft” songs on this album and although I thought that would disappoint me, I hardly notice it. " The Dream Calls for Blood " tidak terlalu mengecewakan memang jika Track ini bakalan menjadi Track Terkuat di album ini demi melanjutka misi mereka Mencintang Thrasher Die Hard ! never felt the need to necessarily limit himself to the standard chord schemes of the genre, which (still!) makes him one of the best guitarists on the planet. Also, all the songs are quite catchy, which could be a turn-off to many Thrashers, but is very enjoyable for yours truly. Komposisi Musik yang semakin matang bisa kalian rasakan banget untuk setiap Lick dan Progress materinya kali ini. " Execution - Don’t Save Me " siap memberikan Sentuhan yang lebih Ringan dari ketukan track sebelumnya, terasa lebih rockin Thrashy attitude-nya. has hardly ever sounded so energetic as in that song. The choirs shouting the title in the chorus finish the whole thing. Killer. The song starts with a beautiful, tranquil intro with acoustic guitar and some subtle lead work and shifts into a powerful midtempo stomper. The pre-chorus, with once again a great interaction. Menurut Gw sebuah Thrash Metal album variatif yang sentuhan Fresh-nya memang menjadi Trademark untuk Death Angel bertahan dari yang dikembangkannya sejak tahun 1982. meski gw masih terlalu cinta dengan materi klasik mereka " Act III ", sajian Death Angel Hari ini mungkin akan lebih menjadi sesuatu yang Memorable. Tema Cover art " Relentless Retribution " karya Seniman Brent Elliott White masih menampilkan Icon Serigala sebagai salah satu Kekuatan Imaji Band menulis lagu Rebel-nya. so more credence would be given to said album being an experiment gone horribly wrong. Nonetheless, the band basically left the genre of thrash and didn’t completely come back.
